Data Deletion Policy

Fravora does not create user accounts. App settings and photo sources are stored locally. If you consent, pseudonymous usage statistics and crash reports are processed by Google Firebase; website analytics is a separate service that runs only with your choice. Fravora contains no advertising.

Even though Fravora does not maintain user accounts, we provide a way for users to request deletion of any data that may be associated with their use of the App, including Firebase data linked to a random app-instance identifier.

What Data Fravora Collects

Fravora may access or process the following types of data:

• Local device files (photos, images) - processed locally on the device; only when location or landmark names are enabled, photo coordinates rounded to 2 decimals (about 1 km) are sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim and place-name results are cached on your device
• Network information - used to access shared folders or internet radio streams. At startup, GitHub Pages receives your IP address and standard HTTP request details for the configuration file, with no identifier, before you answer the consent dialog and regardless of your answer; see Privacy Policy Section 2.12
• Weather location - weather is off by default on new installations; earlier enabled settings are kept. When on, it uses device location with permission, otherwise approximate IP-based location through ipwho.is. Coordinates go to Open-Meteo and MET Norway for forecasts; city searches go to Open-Meteo geocoding. Location is not stored and no weather request happens while weather is off
• With consent, pseudonymous Firebase Analytics events and Crashlytics reports, linked to a random identifier; Google may process technical data such as an IP address when transmitted. Separately, on the Google Play build, starting TV pairing or cloud scanning uses Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity, which sends device attestation data to Google
• Google Photos and Google Drive (only if you connect them) - selected media is downloaded to your device for the slideshow. Fravora has no server copy. During TV pairing, a short-lived access token is relayed temporarily through Firebase Firestore and deleted as soon as the TV receives it

The App does not require the following details for core photo-frame use:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• A Fravora user account
• A Fravora user profile
• Registration details

Deleting Google data

To remove Fravora's access to Google Photos or Google Drive, delete the source in the app (Settings > Sources). Fravora revokes its access with Google and deletes the stored credentials, the source settings and the cached media from your device. You can also revoke access at any time in your Google Account under Security > Third-party apps and services. Uninstalling the app deletes all data stored on your device. Temporary TV pairing records are normally deleted within seconds, and any leftover records are removed at least once a year.

How to Request Data Deletion

If you would like to request deletion of data associated with your use of Fravora, including pseudonymous analytics or crash-report data processed by Google Firebase, contact us at:

Please include the following information in your request:

• The name of the app: Fravora
• The platform you are using (for example, Amazon Appstore)
• Any additional details that may help us process your request

We will respond to your request within one month. Requests for data held by Google may also need to be made to Google.

What Happens After a Deletion Request

Because Fravora does not store personal accounts or maintain user profiles, deletion requests typically involve:

• Requesting deletion of Firebase data associated with your app-instance identifier, where available
• Providing instructions on how to reset or clear data stored locally on your device, including the locally stored consent choice

We will guide you through any steps needed on your device if applicable. You can turn off usage statistics and crash reports in Settings > Support. Turning off usage statistics stops collection and resets analytics data on your device; turning off crash reports stops collection and deletes unsent reports. Data already sent is kept until the retention periods in Privacy Policy Section 2.11 end. The startup configuration request happens regardless of these choices.
