Step-by-step NAS Music Setup
- Connect your Synology or QNAP NAS in Settings → Sources using the SMB provider.
- Go to Settings → Audio → Music and create a new playlist.
- Use the Add Folder action and select your music root on the network share.
- Use Refresh Now to verify Added/Removed/Re-linked counts.
- Set the Scan Interval (PRO) so Fravora automatically discovers new music added to your NAS.

Deduplication and Library Integrity
Fravora's deduplication system ensures that your library stays clean. It uses an identity token (normalized filename + size + date + title + artist) to prevent duplicate tracks, even if they exist in multiple folders on your NAS. On the Free tier, this is always active to keep things simple; PRO users can toggle it for specific playlist needs.
